markit is hiring a Visual Communications and Design professional. The ideal candidate has a marketing mindset, incredible attention to detail, the ability to work in a collaborative environment, and is enthusiastic about new opportunities and challenges. At markit, we don't just make pretty things - the role of Visual Communications and Design is responsible for understanding the 'why' of what we do before visually executing the design in order to achieve amazing results for our clients.

Key Requirements of the position include:

• Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Participate in brainstorm discussions
• Ability to take the reins on a vision and produce it
• Strong type and page layout skills
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
• A comprehensive understanding of press setup and output
• An eye for detail and consistency
